Who Knew?

CWPWHO_Inside-QSGS How do you write Civil War books that appeal to young readers who may not be so interested in history, especially not dusty, old war history?  I thought the new non-fiction graphic novel approach might fit the bill, and in addition to this old dog learning a new trick, enjoyed the surprises, such as just how active sweet little ladybugs were in 1860...as you can see by these! (click on the image to read all of the ladybug quotes!)
